Bill:
I'll tell you what I have learned and what I have in mind Joe. At Hanford
there has been a rumor that you hear all the time and that has been for twenty
to thirty years. to explain the rumor we will need a bit of geography, Hanford
lies between the Columbia river and a high ridge named Rattle Snake ridge.
In between there are about 30 to 40 miles of more or less flat desert where
the reactors and nuclear processing was done. The whole thing is shut down
now, the only mission at Hanford is cleanup. The only security mission at
Hanford is to protect Weapons grade plutonium that is left over from the weapons
programs of old. In my years of working at Hanford I have heard much scuttlebutt
about underground tunnels that have electric cars that commute to a underground
complex located under Rattlesnake Ridge. I sort of tossed this off as bologna.
One day in about 1994 I was working out at Hanford on a pretty good sized
crew of labors. We were putting in the underground for the new Vitrification
plant, a way of solidifying nuclear waste for safe disposal by turning it
into glass, when I noticed that a couple of the hands were picked up by a
NRC van and trucked off after lunch each day. Being as nosey as I am, I asked
them what they were doing. The answer was strange, "We can't say It's classified".
So I worked a couple of months with these guys and we sort of got friendly.
The one guy asked me if I had heard of the tunnel over to Rattle Snake Ridge.
I admitted that I had, but that I had thought it was bologna. The guy said,
"It ain't". He went over there each day to be a janitor cleaning the place
up. He said that it was a gigantic complex and that they were only permitted
in certain areas. Area's that were accessible with a Q-clearance. So now I
don't believe it is bologna anymore. Furthermore as I said, Hanford officially
now has no military mission at all. If you commute in traffic at the Hanford
area you see a quite a few high ranking military officers in traffic. I've
seen NATO officers there and as a old Air Force enlisted trooper I recognize
them, General Officers, Colonels, Majors and even Enlisted ranks. Where are
these guys going. One possibility is the Yakima firing range, but why would
NATO have a big interest in getting there through the Hanford area. There
are other ways to get there. When you travel on the Horn Rapids Road that
passes right between Rattle Snake Ridge and the Hanford Area and look up on
the mountain, which is a security area. One of the workers out there saw some
pheasants on the other side of the security fence. He stopped and shot at
them and then went over the fence to pick them up, the fence is clearly marked
security area, he said that people with M-16's in unmarked green fatigues
were on him in a heart beat, he couldn't imagine where they came from. You
see several concrete structures on the side of the mountain. Elevator shafts?
Air Vents? I suspect so, but really don't know. I'm going out tomorrow and
take pictures of these from the road with my 135 MM Lens and a 2X telex tender
with high resolution film. I'll scan them and zoom them up to the best detail
and then study them to try and figure out what I'm seeing. I'll let you know
if I find out anything.
Editors Note: Bill told me that while taking the pictures, the object was not visible to the naked eye, neither through telescopic's. Before Bill got home from taking these pictures, his web site was already hacked. The server people were baffled, and stated it was a very sophisticated hit. Bill has obtained more pictures of the area which show structures, vents, and other things that just simply should not, and according to officials, do not exist.
It is my opinion that the object Bill photographed is some kind of sentry probe. The probe was probably watching and tracking Bill from the start. As a child in 1968 my brother and I witnessed a similar object roughly 3 ft in diameter that was buzzing around a power pole, it had blue arcs of electricity buzzing on it from the power lines which crackled very loudly. The sound attracted our attention, we turned to look, to see this, and within a couple seconds it streaked upward and out of sight in an instant.
What's your opinion?
